KTI was engaged by DSP Associates ("DSPA") to sell its conference and trade show assets. DSPA's International Conference on Signal Processing Applications & Technology ("ICSPAT"), featuring DSP WORLD EXPO, is the world's premier gathering of signal processing design engineers, system integrators, OEM's, and other technologists. Now in its sixth year, ICSPAT brings together the creative staff who conduct the research and produce the commercial applications of DSP technology. The conference and the exhibit attract a global audience with attendees from industry and academia on six continents.

DSP WORLD EXPO is a three-day exhibition paralleling ICSPAT featuring over 90 companies displaying their products and demonstrating how applications are realized in current commercial products. DSP WORLD EXPO presents a wide range of commercial products including DSP chips, boards, tools, software, and full-solution products for system integrators.

The result of KTI's work was the sale of DSPA's International Conference on Signal Processing Applications & Technology and DSP WORLD EXPO to Miller Freeman Co., Inc., a large publishing, conference and trade show company headquartered in San Francisco, a subsidiary of United News headquartered in London.
